Khadaan II, 2024
A series done on handmade paper, dyed in natural indigo vats, with drawings transferred by screen printing. The series explores the naksha (chart or map) or to map something: the layout of a garden, a building, the first piece of imagination, how the parts of it are arranged, the plan of building a space, taking and adding to the earth through construction.
