Khadaan I, 2024

The series reflects on acts of construction: taking from the earth, planning, and re-imagining it. The title, from khadāna (quarry), evokes both extraction and creation — a negotiation between loss and form.

/khadāna/ 1. nf. quarry countable noun. A quarry is an area that is dug out from a piece of land or mountainside in order to extract stone, slate, or minerals.
